MALCO C5A2 Mechanical Pipe Crimping Tool

A professional roofing tool essential for quick and easy shaping and corrugating of sheet metal.

Creates precise corrugations in round channels and pipes made of galvanized steel and aluminum, as well as black furnace pipes. The drive shaft of the attachment inserts into the screwdriver handle. The telescopic clamp of the attachment adjusts to the length and width of most screwdriver housings.

The installed attachment can be easily operated with one hand. The rotation of the screwdriver handle rotates the interlocking teeth on the attachment's gears, providing the desired crimping effect and pushing the metal out of the right side of the tool. To open the gears and facilitate insertion and removal of metal from the tool's socket, set the attachment lever to the lower position. With the lever in the upper position, the crimping depth is factory-set for galvanized steel with a thickness of 0.48 to 0.56 mm. For thinner sheets, retract the lever or adjust its maximum travel using the set screws.

The attachment is equipped with a clutch in the gear mechanism to prevent damage if the forces involved in crimping the sheet metal are too high.

The narrow gap in the operating mechanism prevents fingers from entering the gear area.
