Description

With the DSS 300 cc, MAFELL offers a unique system for processing both resilient and flexible wood fiber insulation boards.
Cutting precision and precise fit result in improved insulation, reduced thermal bridges, and avoidance of structural damage to the insulation material.
As a result, the DSS 300 cc significantly reduces costs and makes insulation work highly efficient.

TWO-DIMENSIONAL INCLINATION
The DSS 300 cc allows for angled cuts of up to 60°. Additionally, the cutting wire and carbon guide wedge can be tilted back to an angle of 45°.

CARBON GUIDE WEDGE
Pure technology - carbon guide wedge. The extreme stiffness achieved by the carbon fiber fit is key to ensuring the required cutting precision. And the machine's low weight ensures optimal handling.

CABLE FASTENING
The power cable can be secured to the housing. Recommended for comfortable and safe work when freehand cutting and angle cutting.

CUTTING STRING TENSION
Automatic cutting string tension ensures constant tension and excellent cut quality - no manual adjustment required.

HIGH-PERFORMANCE CUPREX MOTOR
Provides concentrated power and high torque.

DETACHABLE SUPPORT / SLIDER
Fulfills three functions in one:
1. as an additional table to enlarge the saw's working surface
2. as a cross stop when working on a seam to the right of the cutting line
3. as a slider to compensate for height differences when working on rail.
The additional support is equipped with a cut line indicator for freehand cutting.

CUTTING STRING PULLEY
The cutting string pulley is divided into pockets that alternately accommodate the drive elements and cutting beads. Additionally, chip deflectors are located at the top and bottom to prevent dust accumulation and ensure smooth cutting string operation.

CUTTING STRING
The unique beads on the cutting string are specially designed to cut in any direction. The cutting wire has 23 cutting beads and drive components.

DOUBLE TOOTHED BELT
The selector toothed belt removes chips and dust from the kerf after the saw has passed, thereby improving chip extraction and cutting precision.

THE RIGHT SOLUTION FOR EVERY SITUATION:

RIPPLE AND CROSS CUTTING
It's this simple: Insert the clamps on both ends of the guide rail, lay the rail on top, and push the pins against the material. Attach the additional support to the DSS 300 cc, then place the saw on the rail, cut, and you're done.

MISTAL CUTTING
For precise and clean mitre cuts, the DSS 300 cc can be continuously adjusted to 60° using a scale. Cutting can be done using the additional support or along the guide rail.

FLEXIBLE INSULATION BOARDS
The DSS 300 cc can also quickly and precisely cut flexible insulation boards, e.g., for partitions between rafters.

SHAPES
Remove the double toothed belt and lower the roller. Thanks to its unique cutting wire, the DSS 300 cc can cut in any direction without restrictions.

ROOF OPENINGS AND FIREPLACES
The cutting wire and carbon guide wedge can be tilted back to a 45° angle. This allows for angled corner cuts, for example, near fireplaces or roof windows.
