MAFELL Z 5 EC BAND SAW

The new Z 5 Ec band saw is the innovative successor to the legendary Z 3 K. Thanks to a powerful motor and a lightweight and durable magnesium alloy that forms the machine's arm, the band saw has increased performance, higher torque, and excellent handling.

The 30.5 cm cutting length allows for cutting profiles even in solid rafters.
The saw is made of a special alloy and is very lightweight (13.7 kg).
The saw is equipped with smooth speed regulation from 650 to 1550 rpm.
The saw table is very strong and stable, allowing for processing material without any problem.
The powerful blower provides a clear view of the workpiece.
The machine is also designed to work along a guide rail.
One of the bands can be rotated at an angle, allowing for a 90 mm cut into the material, useful for cutting, for example, overlap joints.
Band saw blades are available in 6 and 8 mm widths, with 4 and 6 teeth per inch.
Thanks to the movable upper handles and an additional lower handle, the saw can be operated by two people.
Additionally, a special stand on wheels is included, making transporting the machine very easy.
