The SG 400 attachment is one of the options available for the LS 103 Ec chain mortiser for chiselling holes in beams and glued timber. Allows you to prepare large glued wood elements for the insertion of connecting elements.

The SG 400 attachment allows you to chisel holes with the LS 103 Ec chain mortiser with a set of 300 mm chains to a maximum depth of 300 mm and a thickness of 6 - 17 mm, and with a set of 400 mm chains to a depth of 400 mm and a thickness of 10 - 17 mm.
Ideal machine for making holes for:
- mitre joints
- lap joints with the ends of the connected elements cut to half their thickness
- channels for power cables
- holes in posts, etc.
Weighing only 24.5 kg, the attachment is easy to use (weighing 33.5 kg with the mortiser)
Precise mortising depth adjustment
